There is also a workspace available in this room. The exposed brick queen bedroom is located at the top of the stairs and offers both hanging and folded clothing storage. There are two living spaces. The downstairs space is an open-concept area with the kitchen and dining room. The upstairs living/tv space is a cozy room with exposed beams bedroom access. Don't miss the kid space at the end of the first floor! Your kiddos will love the lofted bed and cozy gaming area. Regarding Parking: The garage is attached to the house but accessible only via the garage door (accessible with a code). The garage space will fit compact SUV's (like a Honda CRV) and smaller cars. It is very narrow and short - 11' wide x 14.5' long with a 7' high x 9' wide door opening. There is a rendering of the garage (including the dimensions) so you can determine whether your car will fit. Street parking is also available.

Other Details to Note

There are spiral stairs between the first and second floors. There is an attached garage that fits cars smaller than a full-sized SUV but you could have the car stick out a bit. Be careful when you pull-in as it is a tight garage. Best to let your passengers out & have them help guide you in. Hard to make it in just a single turn so take your time & be careful. Observe 2-hour parking signs nearby at The Landing restaurant, in front of the Forepeak, and along Washington Street. Overnight parking is allowed in these areas, but cars must be moved in the morning. Additional parking can be found on Merritt Street (one street up from Front Street) and along Pickett Street.

Amy was very helpful and had great recommendations. Very quick with her responses. The location was perfect. Walkable to great restaurants, shopping and beautiful views. Don’t miss the walk to Fort Sewall or breakfast at the driftwood. Dinner at the landing was delicious. We visited Salem and checked out the original painting “The spirit of 76” in town hall. Very interesting and the woman explaining the meaning was very informative. If you are looking for a perfect little wkd on a coastal town this is the spot.

The house itself was beautiful—clean, tidy, and very comfortable. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and how friendly the neighbors were. The location was perfect, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. If we have the chance, we would absolutely stay here again!
